The farm's name comes from the date it was founded, March 23, 1988. The inn is located in the South of the Pantanal, Mato Grosso, in the municipality of Aquidauana and geographically in the Pantanal of Miranda, with plains and native forests. The farm is located 220 km from Campo Grande, capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, and is capable of receiving up to 80 people (for tours) daily. The inn has 5 rooms, for up to 16 people with triple, double and quadruple apartments. All are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and refrigerators. The farm also offers extensive balconies with mosquito nets, hammocks, a dining area, a landing strip and a small collection of books on the Pantanal. Laundry services, Internet access and telephone services are offered. The visitor can also enjoy the delights of regional cuisine, with dishes made on a wood burning stove. Our tours include: horseback riding on trails and in the flooded farm fields, sport fishing, cattle handling, nature contemplation, night safari and nocturnal observation (see tours section). The rates include all meals and all excursions.
